Conversaciones. Kate and the Gym.


Kate talks about getting in shape and losing weight. - Kate habla de ponerse en forma y perder peso.

Jessica:  Kate, how do you normally spend your evenings?
Kate:        I've joined the gym here, so I go and exercise and go for a swim.
Jessica:  How long do you stay each time?
Kate:        About 2 hours.
Jessica:  Wow. So what do you do during those two hours.
Kate:       So we go to the gym for about an hour and then have a swim for half an hour and then sauna for about ten minutes and then finish off with a massage.
Jessica:  Wonderful, ehm and so who do you go with?
Kate:       I go with Nicola.
Jessica: Now when you're in the gym, do you do weights? Do you do cardio? Aerobics? Running? Walking?
Kate:       We do everything really. Aerobics and weights.
Jessica:  Why are you exercising? Do you have a certain reason, a goal in mind?
Kate:       Yeah, because I put on a lot of weight when I was in Australia because I was eating too much pizza and and drinking far too much beer.
Kate:       Get back to the original weight that I was.
Jessica:  Well, good luck to you.
Kate:       Thank you.

Jessica: Wow. Entonces, ¿qué haces durante esas dos horas.

Kate: Entonces vamos al gimnasio por una hora y luego nadamos durante media hora y luego una sauna durante unos diez minutos y luego terminamos con un masaje.

Jessica: Que bien, ehm y entonce, ¿con quién vas?

Sara: Voy con Nicola.

Jessica: Ahora, cuando estás en el gimnasio, ¿haces pesas? ¿cardio? ¿Aerobics? ¿Correr? Caminar?

Kate: Hacemos todo realmente. Ejercicios aeróbicos y pesos.

Jessica: ¿Por qué estás haciendo ejercicios? ¿Tienes alguna razón, una meta?

Kate: Sí, porque me engordé mucho cuando estaba en Australia porque estaba comiendo demasiada pizza y bebiendo demasiada cerveza.

Kate: Volver al peso original que tenía.


Jessica: Bueno, buena suerte.

Kate: Gracias.
