Frogs live on land and in water. But frogs need water to reproduce.	In spring female frogs lay eggs in the water.
The eggs start to grow.	The eggs change into a tadpole. Tadpoles have a long tail, and can only live in water. They breathe with gills and eat plants and very small animals.
After approximately five weeks, the tadpole starts to change. It grows legs and its tail becomes shorter. The tadpole also begins to grow lungs.	The tadpole grows into a little frog called a froglet. The froglet has a small tail. An adult frog does not have a tail.
